Al-Harah Theater aims to produce theatre that is well crafted but moving, challenging but accessible and, essentially, honest. Theatre that has the potential to change the lives of those who make it and those who watch it. They believe in promoting a high dramatic standard while remaining accessible and through both their performances and their educational work they bring compelling stories to audiences throughout Palestine, the Arab world and beyond in one of the last uncensored spaces.
The theatre is committed to principles of plurality and multiculturalism. Through producing and promoting theater arts in Palestine, we are partaking in building and maintaining a civil society that emphasizes human rights, democracy and freedom of expression as key components for a dynamic society.
